I would love to stay home...but, not in the cards unless I can figure something big out. :(<BR/><BR/>Also- I'm not too big on this man/baby thing. I heard about it on the radio on the way to work. I have to agree with Heather/future mom on this one. If you want to have a sex change, fine. I have no problems with that. But then you should live like a man, not go back and forth as it suits you. I feel badly that they had trouble and the wife could not have children....but there are other options. I think this would be awfully confusing for the child too. baby photos from the hospital with daddy in labor? I just don't know.Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07156212038739784644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5411191833261267894.post-82266505242351716192008-03-26T17:26:00.000-04:002008-03-26T17:26:00.000-04:00I don't really care what people decide to do with ...I don't really care what people decide to do with their own lives as long as it doesn't hurt anyone. And by hurt, I don't mean annoy or offend or whatever, I mean HURT. Will it hurt the child as it grows? We'll have to wait and see.<BR/><BR/>And if you find a way to fund your SAHM dream please let me know. I have that dream too!Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11617259549508716343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5411191833261267894.post-2243661059457802462008-03-26T17:22:00.000-04:002008-03-26T17:22:00.000-04:00This is just wrong on so many levels. If you have...This is just wrong on so many levels. If you have a sex change operation that is fine...but then you legally, physically etc. live as a member of the opposite sex. You can't pick and choose certain parts of each and go with that. In order to go through with a sex change, you need a lot of counseling and part of that should be that if you want to live as a man then you will obviously give up your right to have (give birth to) children. It was obviously a conscious decision on the part of the couple to have a child (which is fine) but they seem to have the money to afford adoption or surrogacy if they want a biological child. The couple seems surprised that most doctors will not help them. Really? But they also seem embarrased and would not even tell family members about their situation. I feel that any couple who is fit to have a child & wants one should be able to...straight, gay, whatever...but that does not include a former woman who changed to man to carry a baby.Future Mom (Heather)https://www.blogger.com/profile/17866350673258951184noreply@blogger.com
