Goodies from the Baby N Toddler Expo

If I don't get this up today I will never get it up. Here are some highlights from the Expo!

Also, I did see part of the Deidre Imus seminar of raising baby green. I am not giving a review here. I will just say she is lucky I didn't yell Baba Booey and run out of the room.

Happy Baby Food! I swear by their baby cereals. We use all three types and always have. I have tried just about every baby cereal on the market and I keep coming back to this one as the best. I especially love is the consistency. I also really like that it has probiotics in it to help baby's belly. It is also available at babies R Us now. Happy Baby also offers a frozen baby food line. This is a little trickier to find. At the expo I sampled the Mama Grain. One word -YUMMY! It contains organic bananas, organic quinoa, organic black beans, and DHA algal oil. I will most likely be making the trip to Whole Foods to pick some up for E. This company also serves up Happy Bites a frozen line for toddlers and kids.

Fun Ideas that need an Eco Friendly Twist!

Get posh with Posh hospital baskets and posh baby gowns. I think this is a great idea but what about us posh green momma's? I personally hope to see a little posh greenness in the future- an organic posh baby basket?

BIRTH'A BAG! This already packed hospital bag does have some great eco-friendly some components like the Recycline Preserve Toothbrush. However I would like to see and entirely eco-friendly bag. Let's make that cotton t-shirt organic. Price: $110-$180

For Mom, Dad, and Baby
Wee Hands! You all know I am soo diggin the baby sign language. Wee hands is an organization that helps families use ASL to communicate with their little ones. They have classes all across North America. Check out their website to find classes and workshops near you.

For Jersey Mommas!

Check out Babybites for information on Luncheons and events for new, expectant, and seasoned moms! I wonder if I am a seasoned mom now. If so I hope I am SPICY!

NJ baby wearing Mommas

If you live in NJ and need help with baby wearing check out Quirky Baby. They are located in Princeton and carry a wide variety of carriers. They also provide personal consultations. and now a funny story about what I overheard while visiting this vendor. The quirky lady was helping another mom get her toddler on her back using a toddler hawk. When the mom inquired as to wear she should tie the front straps the quirky lady replied, Well, since your expecting. The poor momma quickly shook her head NO! and I think I felt embarrassed enough for both of them. Seriously quirky lady- never assume anyone is pregnant.

last but not least

For Nursing Mommas

These girl don't have a website but they do make the most adorable nursing cover ups. Plus, they were super, super nice.- which counts for a lot in my book. They are called Peek-A-Moo and run a reasonable $25. They will do a special organic organic cover up if you wish. If you are interested e-mail me and I would be happy to give you their number.

and that's all for now because E is clambering around in her crib.

read what Rose though about the expo.
