Where have I been?

wrapping gifts? NO!
putting up my tree? NO!
sending out x-mas cards? NO!

Chasing a 15 month old around for 12 hours at a clip! DING DING DING! YES!

... and that is where I have been. Why? because I can't seem to find an ounce of time for myself! and so I bring you...my toddler schedule! We are in the process of moving from two naps to one nap...and Eliza has gone from sleeping 3 hours a day to sleeping 1 hour and not wanting to go to bed!

7:30 wake & diaper change
7:45 breakfast!
8:00-10:00 Play Time
10:00 Snack

2:30-3:00 Snack
3:00-5:30 play
5:30 dinner
6:00 play MORE!
7:00 bath
Bed???? Eliza doesn't want to sleep anymore. Who needs any stinkin sleep. I usually end up in our bed with her around 9.

UM... OH YEA! Where is the me time? Has anyone seen the me time?????

hey at least you get an hour of free time... I'm lucky if the boys naps overlap for 20 minutes!

When Blake switched from 2 naps to 1 nap it took a while for him to get in the swing and then his nap got longer and he was taking 3 hr naps and is now shortening to 1.5 hour-2 hours

you will figure it out

I think your free time is hanging out with my free time- somewhere between the land of far, far away and the disappearing isle! If you find it, let me know so I can get it back!

N has been narrowing his naps to about an hour to maybe hour and half a day. I am really missing that extra hour.
Hopefully you will get ur sanity back soon!

Multiply that by two. Stella downs't want to nap anymoreand Madison wants 24/7 attention. She is obsessed with letters and learning to read and doesn't understand what it means to take a break.

Ugh, I hear ya. We're doing ok, between 3 naps D sleeps about 2-2.5hrs right now. Tho I do occasionally also get times like now, when he's happily playing with a box in the room and I can sneak off to the computer. ; )

I'm kinda dreading when he goes down to 2 and then 1 nap.

I do remember hearing advice from a few people, that when a nap went away (like when going from 2 naps to 1, or 1 to none) the mom instituted a "quiet time" policy where the kids still had to play quietly or hang out in bed during that time, so mom still got somewhat of a break. Not sure how well it'd work with a 15 month old... If her room's pretty well baby-proofed, would she let you get things done while you guys hang out in there and she just plays? Or does she need your attention all the time?
