I am planning a Tasty Toddler post for next week focusing on snacks.
I figured I haven't done a schedule post in a while. So here is what a winter day looks like at my house.
7:00 Rise and Shine- I have been feeding Eliza right when she wakes up. I am now trying to push breakfast until eight. From 7:15-8:00 we will be reading together and mommy will drink some coffee.
8:00 Breakfast- Eliza scarfs down her food so breakfast time usually lasts about 15 minutes and then she wants out of her chair.
8:15-9:00 Music and Cleaning- I throw on some music and straighten up downstairs- do my fly routines, start dinner, laundry etc.
10:00- Snack Time!
10:15 -If we have errands this is usually the time we go-maybe twice a week
11:00 Read Books & Play in Eliza's Room/ Sometimes we visit our neighbors
12:00 Lunch
1:00 - 2:30 (3 if i am lucky!) Nap
3:00- Bath (not everyday- she is getting scaly like a lizard!) & Snack
3:30- On some days we let out another neighbor's doggy!
4:00 Play & sometimes a Signing Time Video (so mommy can get dinner together)
5:30- 6:00 - Dinner
7:30 Daddy's Home! Yay!!!!
8:00 Bed Time!
What does E play?
I think we are both tired of her toys. She usually does puzzles, sorts shapes, plays with her house, her letters, stacking toys, etc. She isn't into any arts and crafts yet.
In all honesty most days drag. We have had snow on the ground for weeks. I would love to go outside twice a day for some fresh air. I think Eliza feels the same as me- stir crazy.
Spring can't come soon enough for us.

You forgot to leave time for you to shower.LOL
I got the co-sleeping speech from my mom the other night. Grrr
Very similar to our days right down to the bored with all our stuff thing! Littlepixie is fond of painting and playdough for about 15 minutes at a time so that's good, but we are both bored of all her books. Off to the library tomorrow hurrah :)
I was stir crazy and I went out today lol. Spring will be sooo nice.
I get stir crazy too! It's hard trying to keep a toddler entertained. Especially, for us today. Nothing seemed to keep his attention. Ugh!
I hate being cooped up in the house!!
Lucky for me, the mall near my house has an indoor playground. That has been my saving grace. I am sure on the hot days, we will be there too.
I am getting sick of the same old books and toys too. N has this obsession with one paticular book. It is driving me crazy. I can read it without looking at the words.
The things we do for our kids!
glad the nap thing is working! i scramble trying to find ideas, too - i've been getting ideas from montessori, and having a letter theme each week helps me brainstorm ideas a little better. if i'm not in a rush, having esme help with the chores is always good for filling up time!
wow, you are very good at structure..one thing I need to improve on. kudos!
I know the feeling, we have had a few weeks of great weather and we have been out everyday...
I am lucky that on the really cold days, if I brave it for 5 mins I can get to parent drop in center just down the street from us. If it was not for them I think I would have gone nuts in January.
