Weekend Update with Me

I woke up with a bloody nose and a sore, swollen, infected cut on my finger. However, I realized it was hair cut day so my mood improved! I just love haircut day. After spending almost two months straight with Eliza, I suddenly didn't mind wasting time casually flipping through Cosmo while my hairdresser was running late.

I am packing up to head for my mom's house. My pop is here from Missouri and my niece is here from N.C.! I am very excited to see both of them and I am sure they are both ecstatic to see Eliza! We are heading to see them after E's nap.

Tomorrow Pete is doing a photo shoot of Eliza's friend Eddie. I am hoping it is a nice day so we can get some much needed sunshine as well.

Here is a pic Pete snapped of my hair with the phone. I know it is nothing spectacular-especially in this pic- but it is the first time I have actually had my hair done in about two months. (it has been 20 weeks since my last cut!) There is something about the early stage of pregnancy- when you kinda look like you ate too much because you have more of a flubber belly than a bump-that makes me feel ugly. Or maybe it is that I haven't had my hair done in weeks, or never get around to wearing makeup. Or maybe it is my furry caterpillar eyebrows. Who knows! I seriously need to work on my looks a little more or I am going to get very depressed.

The green maternity tee I am wearing is my new favorite. It is a hand me down Gap maternity tee from Rose. It is so soft I never want to take it off- EVER! I think I love this tee more than Eliza loves her Elmo undies-which is saying A LOT.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

What a great post! Great haircut. Totally understand on the "wasting time" and cute shirt!

I hope you have a good visit with your family. I am with you on the haircut- it is a favorite treat of mine! Your cut looks cute- I have a cut schedule for the end of the month and have to decide if I want to stay short or let my hair grow long again.....

I never felt good in the beginning of my pregnancies either- I just felt fat- you know, the people can't tell if your pregnant or just 'big' stage- at least by the time you have that belly, there are no questions about why you are big :) You look great though!

I had a few items from Gap maternity, and they were my favorites. There's something about their maternity clothes that makes them so comfy and soft. =)

and Yay for haircut day! =P

Great to see you yesterday and you look Awesome! I really can't beleive you are nearly 20 weeks 'cause you've got the cutest little bump I've ever seen! I think I kind of hate you for that.

Hi, I was browsing the topic of babywearing and came across your blog. I just decided to do this myself when our baby is born in June/July. I am not getting a lot of support from friends around me but would love to hear any advice you might have to offer!

I loved that shirt too...I have a feeling I'll never get it back from you! Love your haircut! You had it up yesterday and I didn't even notice - I'm a horrible friend :o(
We should bribe Sabrina with some wine and get our eyebrows done again, cuz if you think yours are bad, mine are like a whole family of caterpillars cuddling together over my eyes.

You look great. The cut is cute and I've seen your belly pics. I'm jealous of your bigger bump. I can't wait to look more prego than fat.
