Eliza had a play date with a little boy who lives nearby. OK...it was a play date for mommy really. Our husbands golf together so we had TONS to discuss. Tee Hee Hee! Anyhoo, we have been getting the babes together since they were born. His mom and I had the same due date so really the babies are the SAME age. However, Eliza was born two weeks early and he was born a day late. Eliza and her little friend were so adorable. It gave me such pleasure to watch them play and interact. It was fun chatting over milestones and fretting over ones not yet achieved. This tends to happen with moms who are also teachers. It reminded me how much they have grown over the past 8 months. It truly is amazing.
Here are some snapshots from the play date. To see more check out my Flickr page. Sorry the pics are ginormous and into my sidebar. Oh well- not changing it now.
Learning how to share!
Playing footsie!
A light snack!
I think he is in love. My husbad says this picture represents all male-female relationships!
Paparazzi shot
Gotta love the matching binkies!
* and by the way- the commentor on my Golf Rant post who wrote "What an A$$hole!" was of course my husband. I knew it all along- but he told me the other night. So I said, " Well, at least we are in agreement!"

Those pictures so stinking cute!
They are sooooooo cute together! I had a feeling it was Pete but didn't want to call him out on it! Have fun at your last swim class today.
I KNEW IT!!! I knew it was Pete - so classic...
PS - Love all of the pics of the babies.. I checked out all of themlast night on Flickr! Too cute...
They are adorable together! I love the footsie picture! hehe. :) And play dates rock! Not only for the kiddos but for us mommies too!
Oh my goodness! They are precious! The footsie picture is great, too.
I love the pictures. Way too cute!! And that one of the little boy staring at Eliza, obvioulsy in love with her, is sooooo cute!
When I was pregnant with Miss M, our next door neighbor was pregnant also. They were born within days of each other so it was always fun having play dates. But considering we lived right next door and were great friends, we didn't get together as often as you would think... the kids eating/sleeping patterns were complete opposite!
You are making me have baby fever!
STOP IT!!!
Play dates only get more and more fun for them! I love the pic where Eliza has her back to him and he's staring at her!
looks like they had a great time!
Awww, that is so sweet.
Your husband. lol
