You can't do this at Nana's House

When I was little I wasn't even allowed to play with Play-Doh or real paint- only that paint by numbers water crap. So whenever my nieces come to visit we always end up doing some type of messy experiment or craft that I NEVER would have been permitted to do when I was young.

and so I give you...

SLIME!!!

of course I got ripped off at Micheal's' for this slime kit. After I opened it I realized that I could have made it using common household items. Here is the link if you want to try this fun and messy experiment at home.

I am now turning this Blog over to my niece Alli. She will describe the slime making process.

Well of course it was messy. DUH!!! Anyways it was alot of fun! First we ( and by we i mean i) had to mix together

  1. 1 cup water
  2. 1 cup glue ( Elmer's is fine)

Okay that was solution A now for solution B.( make sure you do SA and SB in seperate bowls.)

  1. 1 1/3 cups warm water
  2. 4 tsp. laundry booster (borax)

Mix SA together then mix SB together. mix SB until borax is dissolved.

slowly pour SA onto SB. then roll SA around in the bowl. after that seperate SA from SB and knead until putty like. And ..........Da Da Da Da you..... have .......SLIME-PUTTY!!!!!

Here is a slideshow for your viewing pleasure. ENJOY!
