Salad Baby, Patina Mastina, & It's a Wrap

We went to the Doc today and the good news is that she doesn't need antibiotics. At least she doesn't need them yet. Of course when the doctor looked she was all clear down there. The bad news- I have to make a baby salad 4 times a day for fifteen minutes. Eliza is growing very tired of sitting in her vinegar bath. We need to continue with the baths until Thursday and then see how it looks. Hopefully it will be all clear! The doc said it could be from a swim diaper or from poo in the choo choo. Damn that poo in the choo choo. No more prunes for Eliza.

Please no more baby salad!

In other news, I tried to give Eliza pastina for dinner. I mixed it with some applesauce and served it up. Well she choked and gagged and choked some more. It didn't go over quite as well as I had hoped. I guess tomorrow I will try and puree it for her with some sweet potatoes. Maybe then she will be able to stomach my cooking. Although she didn't like eating her dinner...she sure had a boatload of fun playing with her food.

I have been thoroughly enjoying my new Gypsy Mama wrap. Pete helped me get Eliza on my back. It is so lightweight- great for summer! I love each and every one of my carriers for a different reason. I just can't seem to get enough baby wearing. Gypsy Mama's new brand is called Wrapsody. The Bali Breeze wrap I am using in the pic below is super long. I love it but now I am wishing I had a shorter wrap for the hip carries. I started reading up on their website and loved what I found. They are currently going through the rebranding process- from Gypsy Mama to Wrapsody. They are also making some green changes which I think is awesome. I didn't even know this when I purchased my wrap. One change they are making is using recycled paper for their brochures and business cards. The printing will be done with vegetable inks! Anyways, they are an awesome company so if you are interested in baby wearing be sure to check them out.

I love that picture of her in the salad bath! Your caption is right on! I am glad she is all clear and I hope it stays that way so you don't have to keep doing the baby salad baths!

bummer about the vinegar baths...I use vinegar as my staple cleaner in the home...DH hates it...says it makes him think I'm dyeing easter eggs! Hope E is well soon!

Oh! And luv the GM!

Poor baby - that bath photo is perfect!

Good luck with the food thing! Food art is great - it makes me feel a little better knowing my cooking is going to SOME use after all, even if not deemed edible . . .
